Please read before making a reservation:

This event is at Fantasia Crystals 3510 e. Bell Rd, Phoenix 85032. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class so we can start on time. No drinks other than water please (we've had too many spills.) Class is for ages 13 and up, anyone under 18 will need a paid parent or guardian in attendance. August 17 Saturday (1:00-3:00pm) Exploring Mexican/American Folk Magick- Facilitator: Aarón Mateo. The culture along the US/Mexico border offers a rich magickal tapestry consisting of spiritual practices from Europe, Africa and the Americas. Join facilitator Aarón Mateo as he shares his perspective on some of the tools and rituals using plants, herbs, candles, amulets & talismans and everyday household items used in establishing a brujeria practice of your own. Please bring a pen and paper and come with an open mind! For ages 13+ with paid parent and student in attendance, $20 (cash/Venmo/CashApp).

Aarón Mateo is a dedicated spiritual worker,  healer, psychic and artist with deep roots in Mexican-American Folk Catholicism. Aarón is a practicing Catholic and curandero helping others find spiritual comfort in life, as well as a Muertista and Santa Muerte advocate helping others find spiritual peace in Death. His spiritual philosophy embraces the diversity of spiritual paths, valuing the unique truths each holds. Gifted with claircognizance and clairsentience, Aarón serves as an intuitive channel and medium. Aarón has had the privilege of working at Fantasia Crystals, served on Phoenix Pride Day's Organizing Committee and is a member of the Pantaloni Collective. Through his spiritual work, Aarón hopes to foster community and spiritual growth.
